Images in Safari 3 (beta) for Windows

October 9th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Apple, Software

For the past few weeks I have heard several comments about image rendering in Safari. Many say images look different in Safari when compared to other browser. I thought of taking a step forward and did some research myself.

Below are the screenshots of the same picture in Safari 3, Firefox 2, IE7 and Opera 9.2 respectively.

Not to my surprise, they look exactly the same in all of them. So I guess the “image-rendering-problems-by-Safari” myth is busted! well…again, that’s me and this is in Windows (only). It seems many people complained about image rendering in Safari and Firefox in OS X. So, incase you disagree to what I just said above, you are more than welcome to write to me at amit@amitava.com.
