Cool Interactive Mirror

October 25th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Hardware

BlogLitStudios has come up with a “true” interactive mirror. If you see the demonstration video, you would probably like it. It definitely looks magical!

This touch-based interactive mirror surely is fun to play with. Although the practical application of the device may not be prominent at this time, it sure will be…very soon. The maker, Alpay Kasal was originally inspired by the already existing dielectric glass mirrors with LCD panels built in, which are supposedly the mirrors of the future, complete with live news, weather and other real-time data. These products were good, but lacked a good user interface, like touch-based interactivity.

Kasal says, “In an effort to dive deeper into HCI (Human Computer Interaction) by hacking together parts easily acquired, I set out to build something especially “non-computery” – introducing the Interactive Mirror.”
