Ford will introduce some really cool SmartGauge video instrument panels for their 2010  hybrid models of Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan. The speedometer will be in the center, but on either side it will show you the “EcoGuide” in real-time animation. This will give you how much energy you are consuming while driving.

Ofcourse, this highly likable display is completely customizable. You can see battery charge status, tachometer, power applied to the wheels, power consumption, engine output and what not.  Ford will complete the design along with assistance from the design gods IDEO and also SmartDesign.
