Microsoft ties up with LG for Windows Mobile deal

November 3rd, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Microsoft, Software

LG and Microsoft declared that they have signed a MoU to establish a strategic link between the two companies in selling mobile devices. LG confirmed that “the deal centers around Windows Mobile and will take advantage of Microsoft’s software experience”. This seems to a rather smart move from Microsoft as they are struggling to push harder in the mobile phone market. Considering the invincible success of Apple iPhone and the recent success of Google’s Android (which is Open Source), Microsoft must find ways to convince large-scale cell phone manufactures (like LG). Lets just say this is one good step from Microsoft.
