The electronics giant Samsung is developing a window made up of multiple 12.1-inch specialized-OLED panels. This OLED display unlike conventional OLED has a 30% transmittance. The resolution is 840 × 504 pixels and its luminance is measured at 200cd/m². The window automatically dims itself to save energy and can even preview advertisements!

Samsung has this as a prototype at this point, not something that is practical, but it already made it the FPD International 2008 exhibition at Yokohama, Japan. So I guess, we will see this futuristic windows in production soon!
