Gmail’s instant chat is extremely popular. Now it will have video and voice capabilities too which will be embedded in the Gmail interface. Although this is no Yahoo Messenger or Skype, but is still a great addition to Gmail.  Gmail Video and Voice chat uses a proprietary plug-in unlike most other video chat applications which use Flash. The 2MB software can be downloaded from Google and currently supports Firefox (both PC/Mac), IE and Chrome.
