World’s smallest projector for iPhone and iPod

Apple has tied up with Texas Instruments to launch the “”world’s smallest / lightest” DLP Projector for iPhone/iPod. Currently the first launch would be in Japan along with “an iPhone / iPod kit and dock connector for a tax-inclusive price of about ¥50,000 ($511)”. Don’t underestimate the image quality. It has been reported that the white LED light is capable of throwing a 60-inch, ‘dazzlingly bright, sharp, vivid video image’ !

  • Battery life: 2 hours (approx.)
  • Speaker: 0.5W integrated
  • Resolution: 480 x 320 pixels (from 8.5 feet away)
  • Est. price: $511
