London will soon be home to a very ambitious landmark, “The Vauxhall Sky Garden”. The tower, designed by Amin Taha Architects, will be 130m tall and have 178 residential units. The distinguishing feature of this landmark will be its 2,500 square meters of communal gardens, each three floors in height. The tower will be designed “to explore dense living concepts that maintain a high standard of living for residents”. If you are wondering why the extra-focus on the gardens? Here’s your answer… “the idea behind the gardens is to create a space for social interaction foster micro communities.”
