Is Crysis the most realistic computer game ever?

November 17th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Software

I am not an avid video gamer but I do have interest in computer games. There are several high performance computer games available which are unique in their own ways. But the real deciding factor among these games is how realistic they look. Games like Doom, Quake, Half-Life and Unreals are simply awesome, but when it comes down to realism, personally I doubt there is any thing as close as Crysis. It is by far the most realistic computer game I have seen.

Crysis is based on a new engine which is the CryEngine 2. Technically speaking CryEngine 2 is actually the successor to Far Cry’s CryEngine and is the first game engine to use the Direct3D 10 (DirectX 10) framework of Windows Vista.
