VISA International, the world’s largest retail electronic payment network has recently showcased the next generation of credit cards that will come with built-in LCD displays and keypads. The idea for these new type of credit cards has been formulated to lessen the instances of online shopping fraud which has become very common today. The card will have a LCD on top and a 12-button keypad. If you want to use the card, you have to enter the pin number directly into the card which will then display the security code in the screen. This is not a one time process, you have to do this everytime you plan to use the card. These credit cards will go into production as early as beginning of 2009 in Britain.
