Japanese Robot acts on stage

A robot in Japan (obviously, where else ?) , named Wakamaru was “given its [first] theatrical debut this week.” As per the creators, Wakamaru is supposed to have ‘independent personality’ and is very unique. He/She/It (whichever is applicable) was part of the 20-minute Japanese play Hataraku Watashi which means “I, Worker” in English. The play is the first “robot-human artistic collaboration” and was organized by playwright Oriza Hirata at the Osaka University, Japan. Although not much details is available at this time, it has been heard the acting performance of the robot was give a perfect score 10/10 ! Jetsons…here we come !
