Robots to cook your daily food soon
In recent times there have been extensive progress in robotics. This is no different. Finally, you will have something you always longed for. A robot cook, right in your home ! Japan already had the Motoman SDA10 which was designed exclusively to work with humans in the workplace. Now Motoman has been empowered with more responsibilities…’cooking’. The robot is medium sized, measures 4.5 feet in height and 480 pounds in weight. Motoman SDA10 has 15 simultaneously moving joints that assists it to “mix the batter, pour it onto the grill, and even flip it on the pan” ! Even more interesting, it can even take orders by using speech recognition technology. Overall, a perfect companion for everyday life inside your home.
Yaskawa Electric is currently displaying the robot at the International Next-Generation Robot Fair in Osaka in Japan.
