How about this ? A  coffee machine powered exclusively by Windows XP ! May be it is part of one of that ‘make everything automatic’ saga.

The machine has a 8 inch touch-screen, which you can use to control every parameter of your coffee, surf the internet and even play games (although I am not sure how comfortable would that be). But hey, there is a good part, you can start brewing from anywhere else using the internet and then finally just pick the coffee once it is done. Even better, you can make this machine work even through your WAP mobile phone browser.

The machine is powered by the Intel 500 MHz Pentium 3 processor, so it may be a little under-powered for performing any thing extensive (like doing anything other than making coffee), but we have to agree – this is a pretty good idea from designer Reko Maenpaa.
