Sony will launch the cuter version of the Walkman phone series, the Walkman Xmini. As you see from the picture below, it is quite colorful and cute. Unlike most other Japanese mobile phones this model does not seem to be much feature packed, instead Sony kept it simple.  Xmini only has a small 1.8-inch QVGA (240 x 320) LCD display and a 4GB internal storage, which is neither enough for the music lovers nor for the video-philes. But for average users I guess this would be ok.

The Japan based wireless carrier KDDI has this CDMA phone available in December 2009. There is no update whether it will be available in any other countries soon. Overall, a super-compact slider phone with good multimedia capabilities.
