Finally, Google has launched the GMail gadget for Google desktop for Windows, after countless requests from the users. Although the gadget is not full featured like the original GMail, it does have the basics such as reading, searching, and sending messages, something most everyday users would be happy with.

Google says, “You can star messages, use the same keyboard shortcuts, and we didn’t forget about contact auto-complete.” If you have a smaller screen, no to worry, the gadget does not take much of your desktop space and is completely resizable.
