Although officially to be released in January 2009, Windows 7 Beta is already available for a download from BitTorrent. The Beta 1 version will expire on July 1, 2009. It has already been reported that this version is far more stable than the previous versions of the operating system. As ZD Net reports, “This beta is of excellent quality. This is the kind of code that you could roll out and live with. Even the pre-betas were solid, but finally this beta feels like it’s “done.” This beta exceeds the quality of any other Microsoft OS beta that I’ve handled.”
