Ok. Looks like Android is no longer limited to just mobile phones. As seen from the picture above, Android is running on a netbook, ASUS Eee PC 1000H. Believe it or not, it has reported that installation was easy, and the detection for the important hardware peripherals in the netbook was no hassle either. Overall, the netbook was atleast ready for minimum/functional computing.

As VentureBeat reports, Google does not plan to use Android for mobile phones only. It is supposedly meant to run on any device, to be specific any “embedded device”. The originally mobile phone OS is all set for expansion. It is also very likely Android would be widely accepted for various MIDs (Mobile Internet Devices). What ever it is, Android sure looks more promising than ever.
