The idea of a lamp is to light the room. No surprises there. But the idea with which the lamps are designed is apparently endless. It just gets better. Take a look at the “Zip Lamp”. As the name suggests, the lamp can literally be “zipped”. Adjust the length of the zipper to control the illumination. Don’t want the lights? Just zip all the way. The elongated light is made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styren (ABS) and is wrapped with a Neoprene cover with the zipper attached. This cool idea comes from Merry Design Studios.
