Since the original announcement from Apple that it will no longer participate in MacWorld from 2010, there have been new changes. AppleInsider reports that the company will officially join CES from next year. Until now it was evident that Apple wanted to avoid places dominated by Microsoft and products related to its technologies.

Whether this move would prove to be in favor of Apple is hard to tell as of now. But it is certain that the days of “one-company-show” is over as Apple now steps into a more mainstream area with tougher competition. The good part…Apple still is one of the most respected brand names and makes quality laptops second to none.
