Yahoo now has a new CEO, Carol Bartz. She is the former CEO of the flagship computer-aided design software company, AutoDesk. She is also the one who transformed AutoDesk  into a $1.5 billion company. Reputed to be extremely proactive, Carol Bartz is credited with instituting Autodesk’s “3F” or “fail-fast forward” concept. Bartz is also in Cisco and Intel boards.

It is said, the day she landed at AutoDesk, she was also diagnosed with breast cancer. She worked through months of chemotherapy and never let her personal health be a problem for running the company.

With someone like Bartz’s reputation, Yahoo does seem to see “light at the end of the tunnel”.
