Architectural marvels have always wooed us with their designs and structural forms. Buildings no longer are bound by the usual cuboid shapes or straight edges. We enjoy variety and have been previously amused by some of the amazing forms like  the  Netherland structure , Strata Tower and Cybertecture egg. The thought of  adverse effects of global warming and lesser availability of land for emerging population might be the propelling factor for this very concept. This beautiful creation(above) blends in both looks and utility.

Don’t tell me that the thought of a suspended spaceship haven’t crossed your minds upon seeing the picture. An idea by Russian architect Alexander Asadov, this is an 200 meter wide “Aerohotel” which rests on intricate work of supports, imparting the floating feel. This has been actually planned above the water level rather than directly on any water body so it doesn’t harm the ecosystem beneath it. The structure embodies a hotel, cafes, restaurants and gardens. The planning also includes provision for docking boats as well as Zeppelin landings. The combination of futuristic looks and technology summed up with its approach towards the environment, it surely is an enthralling experience that people will look forward to.
