Space, space, space….you obviously know that there’s a gigantic one out there on the other side of the atmosphere. Hold on, that’s not the space we are concerned about here. It’s the space that gets lessened due to uncountable items we tend to buy and accumulate. Utilization of the available space is a real articulating task in small apartments. It is quite a trend to see such space saving furniture in the market and the way they unfold lovely creations. Just wait to see how this one evolves and what it has been inspired from.

No doubt the looks suggest that it is a chair but not of the usual form. It has been made by arranging cardboard layers and has more utility than simply a seat. It has two more parts that can be taken out to be used as an ottoman and a side table as shown in the pictures. Even the cylindrical space that emerges in the ottoman again can be utilized.

This design is a 1st place winner  in “Volvo For Life Design Awards” and is by Luis Luna.
