Netbooks have made a significant impact in the world of computers. Almost every major laptop manufacturers have joined the bandwagon. Certain factors which the consumers look for in a netbook are the size of screen, the quality of display, overall size, weight, it’s features and the ofcourse the deciding factor…the battery life. Even the best featured netbook having a poor battery life will automatically hinder it’s acceptance among the consumers.

Samsung, the pioneering Korean electronics giant may have finally answered our prayers. Their new line of netbooks called N120 literally gives a 10.5 hr. battery life (probably the first of its kind in the netbook world). The netbooks have a typical 6-cell battery inside yet gives this much-higher-than-average battery life. The N120 also features a larger keyboard (than its predecessors), a 10.1 screen, 1.3 megapixel camera, 3-in-1 card reader, three USB plugs and a Bluetooth option.

Considering the average 8 hours time in a regular work day (probably more for software engineers), I think 10.5 hours is a hard-to-beat benchmark. The Samsung N120 is definitely in our top of the list “next buys”!!
