Mails, mails, mails….it’s not about receiving the mails but sending them; when at the last moment you remember that you should have altered it a bit or there was a need to add an attachment but oops!….”Your message has been sent.” !!! So what’s the alternative?

Gmail now provides you with an “undo” option. It works to hold the mail for 5 seconds after you have already clicked the “send” button. Click  “Undo“  within the given time limit [5 seconds], you get hold of your message in the compose area otherwise the mail is sent.

To activate this feature you click Settings, then Labs and find out the “Undo Send by Yuzo F”. When enabled, for every mail you send you will find the Undo option at the top of the page.

This Gmail feature is an absolute winner.

This is a very nice feature, but why don’t you just build-in another option for setting a ‘rethink’ time from, perhaps, 5 to 30 seconds…

    Many thanks in advance!
