Book lovers, this is yet another post for you people after the bookclock. It’s a fact that reading a book needs adequate light but every time you carry a book it isn’t possible to have the perfect lighting conditions. So there’s a need for a handy light that serves the purpose.

Designer Ton Guglya brings forth this idea of  a small lamp that is bright enough to illuminate the page being read that can also be used as a bookmark. The power source should be one or two  batteries with LEDs producing a mild white light. It works by placing the flat portion in between the last page and the cover and then switching it on. The different thickness of books won’t be of much a problem as it can be bent [as shown in the picture] according to the required height. This acts like a private light for you, keeping in mind the problem faced by other people sharing your room who love to sleep in total darkness. Small and compact; according to the designer this should be light in weight as well.
