The world’s first netbook with an optical sensor based LCD touch pad

Sharp has always been a pioneer in consumer electronics. This time the Japanese electronics giant has come up with a netbook with the world’s first optical sensor based LCD touch pad. The model named Mebius NJ70A features usual goodies of a powerful netbook…screen size of 10.1 inches, Intel Atom N270 CPU, Intel 945GSE Express chipset and a huge 160GB hard disk. What the netbook also has is an awesome 4-inch optical sensor LCD with a LED backlight and a sharp 854×480 display.
To brief…let’s just assume you have almost an iPhone as your touch pad! It allows you to write on it as it features handwriting recognition, zoom in/out picture, play piano and view pictures the way you would typically do in an iPhone (well, almost!).
Price? Unknown.
