Love to see designs that utilize ‘space’? There were some furniture designs that smartly utilized space… like this chair design and this table. But now we get to see that how a full staircase can be folded and hidden out of sight creating space.

Designed by Aaron Tang, this what we see is Wall-Stairs, a staircase that simply blends with the wall. According to the designer it is a redefined door, the definition of a door  in his words being “I defined a door as “an element of a wall that allowed passageway to another environment when opened and restricted passageway when closed.” ” So this new concept that showcases a redefined door is “a solution for a door that closes, restricting space to an upper floor.”

Such a folding stair that can be very easily encased in a wall space is well thought of and can be of significant importance to interior designing.
