Amazing Canstructions for a noble cause

It’s neither pixel art nor a lego formation but are canstructions. All of these known forms have been constructed from piling up of food cans. These are not merely done on decorative purposes but involve a good cause. It is actually a competition organized by AIA New Jersey to build up structures from food cans as per one’s imagination and creativity after which the canned food are donated to charitable organizations by the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.
This year marks the 11th annual New Jersey Canstruction competition and will start in October in Prudential Central arena. A time-length of eight hours will be allotted on 13th November which is marked as the “Build day”, for the construction of the massive forms. This year’s topics are Hockey, New Jersey Devils, the Prudential Arena and Newark, NJ. This event is sponsored by Society for Design Administration. Get more information here.
