If you come across Matryoshka Dolls you will normally see painted women figurines of decreasing size, which can be nested into one another so that the largest one holds the whole set of figurines. There also has been other styles of these nested dolls featuring stars, politicians, comic characters etc., but in this computer age if you want a very Geeky form of the same artifact then these nested forms of memories is by all means apt. What better can be the representation of the ‘byte’ world!

Both the sets [black and white] are  Art Lebedev’s Matryoshka Dolls designed by Anton Schnaider and Andrey Zubrilov. The six dolls represent respectively computer memory of Terabyte, Gigabyte, Megabyte, Kilobyte, Byte and Bit. The white ones are around $34.00 while the black ones are around $51.00.
