For a few days we have been going through some recycled products [like lamps, cabintrolley, hand bags, cellphone] which by all means supported the cause of being eco-friendly. For a better and greener earth people also came up with ideas like scraplights and cardboard drives. Now what we have here are upcycled products because these pretty colorful brooches are made from simple discarded bottles and then hand painted.

Obtainable from Laura Astor’s shop at Etsy product prices range from $15.00 to $25.00.

The soil at my home is very rocky, so I’ve had a REALLY hard time the
last few years keeping my plants alive. So ideally, I’d like to find
something that will come back year after year, but won’t die in my rocky
flowerbed. It faces Southwest, and is full sun.
