You almost never find a decent looking USB hard disk drive. Most of them are plain ugly and is probably the most boring computer peripheral you will come across. But the new InSight hard drive from Verbatim opens a whole new dimension in design. Covered with a glossy piano-black finish, the chassis is very attractive and hard to ignore, especially considering that it is an external hard disk.

Available in either 320GB  or 500GB capacity, the device also features the Always On display that “shows the customizable name of the drive and available free space“. The interesting part is that the display will show up even if not connected to the computer.
