Lamp designs are aplenty. We have seen many in the past , we will see more in the future and at present we are seeing again something very unusual. Designs fascinate us, primarily the forms and structures we find in nature. This lamp is one such example that has been inspired by beehive formation. These structures blend in both natural and artificial components by showcasing a hive-look with crystal technology.

The bee hive structure is made of plastic and the look of the honey filled hexagons have been achieved by nothing but Swarovski crystals giving it an awesome glittering form. The lamp design also incorporates the idea of gradually filling up of the cells with some empty cells around giving it a more natural flavor. Designed by Yar Rassadin, this Beehouse lamp concept was shortlisted in the Crystal Vision design competition by Designboom and Swarovski.

You can have a look at his Air Chess design as well.
