Opera has already released their browser version 10 – RC edition (Release Candidate). The estimated date of final release for the company’s flag ship browser is September 1. The software features a built in Opera Mail, Opera Turbo (for browsing in slow connection), Opera speed dial and tabbed browsing. “The latest iteration of Opera features a new design and more industry standards than you can shake an HTML 5.0 stick at.”

Although not as popular as Firefox or Safari, Opera does have its own fan base, which is estimated to be several millions. The browser itself is powerful and competes with all major browsers including IE8.
