If you are looking for a robust and reliable mobile OS, personally I don’t think there is anything better than Google Android out there. And considering this baby is actually open source and free, I really don’t find any reason to use something else. So have you ever used the HTC Touch HD? The device has a beautiful 800×480 screen powered by an excellent hardware…the only bummer?…it runs Windows Mobile. Now it seems HTC finally got the signal, as recent rumors are already surfacing that the Taiwanese giant is going to replace WinMo with Android in their upcoming version 2 model a.k.a HTC Touch HD2.

That’s good news for most Touch HD fans. The specs have slightly upgraded too…CPU is a 628MHz Qualcomm chip and the support for HD video playback.

Price? TBA
