A quick look at Sony Ericsson X2: How different is it from X1?

Quite a few people were surprised that Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 was announnced less than 1 year after the launch of Xperia X1. So was the X1 flawed or there is something really different in X2? A quick look at the device and you will notice the following differences…missing “prismatic” navigational keys on its face side which has now become flat, a slightly larger display at 3.2 inches (up from 3 inches), a 8-megapixel camera with touch focus, a better keyboard (very sleek) and a microUSB port.
Although the phone runs Windows Mobile 6.5, it is still not revolutionary different from its predecessor (version 6.1). Perhaps WinMo is at fault…the OS does feel primitive when compared to Android or iPhone OS. X2 retains the same beautiful display at 480×800 pixels and 65k colors respectively. The built is as usual Sony-ish…rock solid and robust!
