Would you believe that this structure is a lamp? The zig-zag ribbon like form might look like a decorative ceiling piece as seen in parties, but thinking of it as a lamp just defies the image we have in our minds that we call ‘a lamp’. Although we have seen a quite a variety of lamps but this one with its smooth curves and gigantic nature is surely different.

Designed by American artist Marcus Tremonto, this Carbon 451 Lamp has been created from carbon fiber, using its properties of being light and tough.
