If you visit the ongoing International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition in Japan, you will come across Sony’s 3D LED display that measures a massive 21 feet wide by 11 feet high. The screen consists of 70 LED smaller displays measuring 28-inches each. The system will require you to wear polarized glasses to see everything in 3D. Ofcourse, it lets you see both 2D and 3D, so you always have the option to switch back. Sony also displayed it’s upcoming HDC-P1 multi-purpose camera for taking 3D images.
“Home-use TVs and Blu-ray players that can show 3D images are expected to be released in 2010.” So expect to see (a lot) more of 3D displays next year.
