What you see above is actually a car. Though it doesn’t look something you will see everyday on your way to office, it is a car and is a pretty fast one. Called the Bloodhound, the vehicle can travel at a massive 1000mph! Which is actually faster than sound and is by (way) far, the fastest car on earth. Only bummer…it is not yet built. But rest assured, there are some serious people who are putting some serious effort in making the vehicle a reality.

So who is gonna drive this? None other than the driver who originally broke the landspeed record and a former RAF Wing Commander, Andy Green.
