Google Chrome now open for extension uploads, very soon to compete face-on with Firefox

What ever way Google puts this, at the end of the day we all know Chrome is here to fight. Obviously, Microsoft’s continued failure with IE gives Google an even better opportunity to dive in. The only competent browser Google sees before the finish line is probably Firefox. Now, to expand its periphery Google has opened the gates for extension uploads for developers (only). At this point, it works one way only though i.e. the Chrome extensions allow only uploads and not downloads. But Google promises to have the downloads ready to public only in the next few days.Ofcourse, the extensions will have a rating system to preserve the quality and to match Google standards.
Well…you can expect to see a whole bunch of plugins/extensions in the next few months. Honestly, with Chrome’s blazing speed and an even faster Javascript engine, it is eminent that the browser is destined for success.
