The world’s most heavily trafficked website, Google.com will soon have a new look. Although it is not drastically different, but there are some new prominent cosmetic changes. The first and foremost are the extra-bluish “Google Search” and “I’m feeling lucky” buttons, which I think some people might find a little too bright. Ofcourse, you will get used to it in the next few days. Also, the Google logo does not have the 3D shading and shadow. Hmm….kinda feels like Google Wave.

The search results show the side-bar on the left which features a lot of controls including page previews, related pages that have not been visited yet and some suggested search words based on your search entry.

Want to try it on your own? Here’s how…

1.   Goto Google.com.

2.  Paste the following code in the address bar (do not modify) and hit Enter:

javascript:void(document.cookie="PREF=ID=20b6e4c2f44943bb:
U=4bf292d46faad806:TM=1249677602:LM=1257919388:
S=odm0Ys-53ZueXfZG;path=/; domain=.google.com");

3.   Refresh / reload the Google.com page

4.   Enjoy the looks!

Note that not all services of Google gets a face-lift.
