Magic is puzzling but who doesn’t love to get puzzled anyway. The set of colorful glasses are the ones set by the magician before you, which kinda looks pixelated. The magician has three drinks namely milk, orange juice and coke and asks you to pour them separately in the different containers and voila! What should you expect? The names of the drinks are spelled out on the glass surface as if by some magic. For decoding the Cipher you may read on.

“Different size and shape squares are placed all over the glass in a very not-accidental grid. When a liquid that matches one of the pre-determined acceptable liquids, the squares’ color, transparency, and color of the liquid combine to create a negative space which shows the title corresponding with the liquid.” Therefore when coke is poured in the Cipher, our eyes are unable to detect the black color on the glass as it matches with the color of coke. Hence when fully filled we can see the name spelt on the glass. The Cipher has been designed by Damjan Stanković.
