Finally a progress bar for the traffic stoplight

Progress bar is almost synonymous with almost all modern operating systems. It helps you realize at what point of the process you are in and gives a decent estimation for how long a process will continue. Now, designer Damjan Stanković is thinking of putting the same idea on traffic stoplights. So the the next time you see the red light, you know for how long you have to keep on waiting.

Ofcourse this is still a concept, but we will not be surprised if we soon see something similar in production.

  1. Wholesale Electronics Says:

just need to see the opposite light, wich changes to yellow first making the “safe time” so any car who had started passing trhoug and got stuck in the middle has a little more time, thats why everybody starts moving forwards even though it s in red.
A counter is only worth for pedestrians.
