If you think Apple is taking over the world by selling the iPhone, then you are wrong. Dead wrong. Samsung recently announced that it has sold 50 million touchscreen mobile phones to date, out of which a massive 40 million just this year (yes, only 2009)! By the way that’s just “touchscreen”, non-touch devices are not on the list. The company hopes to sell a total number (including non-touch cellphones) of a staggering 200 million phones this year!

I am just wondering where would these cellphones go once they are discarded after a few years? Poor Earth, we still love you….you know.
