Winter’s here and so are the coats, caps and gloves! Although we enjoy the snow we also love these coverings that keep us snug and warm in the cold. Here comes a new approach for these comfy wearables. Designer Yiran Qian of Germany introduces the solar panel embedded gloves and cap, that can absorb solar energy and produce the heat then and there to keep us more warm. The solar panels are designed to look like snowflakes so that it looks beautiful too.

This concept was one of the finalists in Designboom’s Green Life contest.
