What better a name than Aqua Tower. The curves and the wavy structure of this 82 story skyscraper do project a spectacular design. Inspired by the “striated limestone outcroppings of the Great Lakes” this creation stands as if a huge monument of flowing liquid. The undulating form not only imparts a visual extravaganza for the onlooker but also maximizes the viewing experience of the surrounding from the tower.

Sustainable features include rainwater collection systems and energy-efficient lighting, while the terrace extensions has been utilized to maximize solar shading. Located in downtown Chicago, Illinois this mixed-use residential tower includes hotel rooms, rental residential units, condominiums and penthouses along with parking facilities. Aqua has been designed by Jeanne Gang, founder of Studio Gang Architects.
