Apple unveils Xserve that supports a massive 48GB RAM

Apple recently upgraded its Xserve servers without much of a hype. The new hardware now supports 4GB RAM modules. The single core version now supports 24GB while the dual core supports a massive 48GB! Ofcourse you pay a hefty price for that…”choosing 24GB of RAM boosts the price by $2,850, while 48GB costs $5,850.”
The company also upgraded the Mac Pro to 3.33GHz quad-core Xeon which can now even support upto a whopping 8TB storage!
