eBooks outsells real books at Amazon.com on Christmas Day

Finally the world seems to realize that eBook isn’t a bad concept after all. For the first time ever, eBook sales have surpassed that of real books at Amazon.com on the Christmas day. Of course this may be because most “brick-and-mortar” retailers are closed on this day. But whatever the reason is, Amazon is really proud of it’s Kindle which it claims to be “the most gifted item in Amazon’s history”.
Looks like hope is still there for eBooks to become mainstream. More eBooks mean less paper, which eventually means less trees destroyed. And that’s good news.
