January 5th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Microsoft, Software

The upcoming version of Office 2010 will be available soon. Consisting of the uber-popular Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint, the new version of the world’s most popular office application suite will have a price range from $99 to $499. The cheapest version which is the Office Academic edition, will be sold at campus bookstores for $99 whereas the high-end Professional Plus editions will cost from $349 and up to $499. The Home and Student Edition will now cost $149.

In addition to that it is likely that Microsoft will abandon it’s low end office suite, Works. Instead it may be replaced by the ad-supported Microsoft Office 2010 Starter Edition.

Availability? June 2010.
