Protozoism – The amoeba shelf

The irregular structure with compartments you see above, remind us of the amoeba that we studied in our Biology classes. This has been named the Protozoism and is a shelf which you will not see around. It deviates from the usual linear structure of bookshelf to an abstract form with different shaped sections for holding not only books but other items as well. You can fancy a primitive organism on the wall holding your stuff!
Every section of the shelf has a backing so that objects don’t damage the wall. Designed by Italian designer Giorgio Biscaro, this shelf comes in a variety of colors and is manufactured by SeeMantic Design. For more of the designer’s works you can visit giorgiobiscaro.
