February 9th, 2010 | 1 Comment | Posted in Gadgets, Science

What would happen if plants could emote their needs and necessities; for example their needs of water, correct temperature, soil condition and other related factors? How about a pot with an LCD that expresses the status of the potted plant so that a glance at it lets us know whether the plant is okay or not? Designer Junyi Heo has designed such a Digital Pot that makes it easy for us to understand the requirements of plants.

This unique pot keeps a record of the information about the plant concerned. If everything is okay it expresses with a normal face on the display screen otherwise it shows other signs and symbols that clearly describes the plant’s need. The digital pot is powered via USB which also helps in downloading information about the plant.Communication with plants has never been so much fun.
